Record-breaking snowfall, 50-year winter, more pow days than not, don’t-see-the-sun-till-May type of year…we’re sure you’re well aware. Typically, this is where we’d tell you just how crazy it’s all been. But around here, crazy is normal. So, sure, what a crazy season. We spent it breaking in a brand new factory while the powder-panicked hordes frothed outside the door like so many zombies.  

And what better proof that we can hit the ground running than to keep firing on all cylinders while a record-breaking winter is dumping it out for six months solid? That’s called pressure testing, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Now that we’ve worked out most of the new house jitters, it’s high time we filled things out with some new toys. Turns out that when you’ve got a whole lot of new floor space you can do better than throw a motorcycle in the living room, so we added a few shiny new machines—and not of the off-the-shelf variety, either. These beauties are custom-built because when you do things your own way, you need special tools to do it proper. And if you can’t buy ‘em, you make ‘em yourself or pay someone to make them for you. 

All of them are there to help us save time, be more consistent, and crank the build quality (and the volume) up another notch. 

Saving time means more room for improvement, R&D, and getting busy on what’s next—including the on-snow testing that’s more valuable than any measurement. We tested more prototypes and resurrected more old designs last year than ever before—so many that we stopped counting—but we made so much headway that we were able to debut the all-new Countach at Blister Summit halfway through the season. How’s that for ahead of schedule? 

The Countach, while a tasty little number, is just that: a taste. It’s far from the only thing we had in the works. Now that you’re here, have a look-see. If you’re familiar, you’ll notice pretty quickly that there’s quite a bit of new poking around. 

What, you need a list? Fine. 

Two completely new models, two ground-up overhauls, five size run expansions, and countless construction refinements and improvements throughout. Not to mention loads more softgoods, multiple (new and improved) poles to choose from, and a Moment ski bag for when it’s time to pull the ripcord and get the hell outta Dodge. We made our own because we think you shouldn’t have to pack an extra towel to protect your skis in a bag that’s supposed to do just that.

Not too shabby for year one in the fresh digs. We’re only getting started—there’s plenty more to come.
