What happens when you juice up a Wildcat with a blood transfusion from a Commander? Call it a freeride ski that doesn’t demand cash upfront for the damage or maybe a more supportive freestyle ski that locks in a helluva lot quicker.  Ready for business, but quick to play.

We call it the Countach 104.

Strong, directional, freeride DNA injected with just the right dose of freestyle playfulness and pop. The Countach 104 is the natural evolution of the directional-freestyle project that we just can’t seem to leave alone. Trimmed dimensions, dropped rocker lines, and enough effective edge to give lycra-clad race coaches a run for their money—the Countach 104 is a low-tide powerhouse.

Sporting 104mm of crud-cutting, chop-slicing, hard-pack devouring European beech hardwood with a raised tail, lower splay, and refined sidecut for increased support, more grip, and quicker engagement than its wider counterpart—the Countach 104 is built rippin’ and tearin’. Crushers love the combination of power and finesse, average Joes and rad-dad has-beens love the compliance, and relish the fact that as they expand their comfort zones the limits of the ski are nowhere in sight. It’ll take everything you dish out without demanding much at all. Think turbocharged, all-wheel-drive hatchback—plenty of room for groceries or a mellow Sunday cruise with the kids, but enough horsepower to smoke your stuck-up neighbor from the stoplight and lose ‘em in the rearview through the corners—not that you’d ever do a thing like that.

As staunch disciples of the quiver school of ski ownership we believe in different tools for different jobs, and while we still chase the über ski mirage—one ski that rips all conditions all the time—we don’t believe it exists. But the Countach 104 might just be as close as we’ve ever gotten. It’s not a one-ski quiver—because remember, that’s a myth—but it’s easily capable of being the cornerstone of more quivers than most. After all, it’s not often we test skis and find deciding which two go into the travel bag *easier*.

Maybe we’ve been drinkin’ the Kool-Aid too long and we’re a little biased, or we’ve got a lil tunnel vision from so much time in the ski lab—then again, maybe not. We just might be onto something. Either way, you’ll let us know. You’ve never hesitated before—why would you start now?

      • This is a general guideline and is only a basic suggestion of the proper size. Where you ski, how you ski, and what skis you've ridden in the past should be taken into consideration.
      • The Countach is a stiff, directional freeride ski with rocker. This means it will be stable at speed while retaining maneuverability and playfulness.
      • If you are still on the fence and ski confidently and aggressively size up. If you ski more conservatively or timidly size down.
      • Beginner assumes a basic understanding of and ability to ski. For those who have never skied or cannot ski down runs without falling we recommend renting/demoing to start.
If you are unsure, have questions, or feel your recommended size is incorrect, please chat, call or email us. We are happy to discuss specific sizing based on your build, skiing style, and existing quiver / past skis.

Full length, knot free, vertically laminated in house. Strong, damp and burly, European beech provides the pinnacle of composure and calmness at the highest speeds in the most challenging conditions.

Extruded sidewalls constructed of modified Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) provide stiffness, dampening, and durability, which allow for more impact resistance and easier repairs that stay put so you can bring the abuse year after year, season after season.

A custom blend of triaxial fiberglass and carbon fiber that provides torsional rigidity along with longitudinal pop and composure at speed.

We use a textured nylon topsheet material enhanced with sublimated graphics‒a non-toxic and eco-friendly alternative to silkscreen. We chose this topsheet material to ensure optimal durability and impact resistance while maintaining crisp and bright graphics.

Skis are tools not treasures and that means they need to take a beating which is why use carbon infused sintered UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene). Harder, faster and with better wax absorption and retention than extruded bases this is the industry leader for performance and longevity.

Rubberized VDS foil is placed at strategic locations throughout the construction to increase bond strength and provide vibration damping for more stability and increased control.

There are only a handful of edge manufacturers in the world. We go straight to the source for the best of the best. We use only 2.2mm Rockwell 48 hardened steel edges. Heat treated additionally in house to ensure you get nothing but the absolute most out of your skis.
